Crystal Palace won at Craven Cottage on their fifth consecutive visit to earn a place in the Carabao Cup quarter-finals – and you chose Chris Richards as your Player of the Match!
Eddie Nketiah's stunning finish eight minutes before half-time was enough to settle a tense cup tie at Craven Cottage – but it was equally the Eagles' fourth clean sheet of the season, and second in two Carabao Cup matches, which saw them through to the quarter-finals.
With some big performances in red and blue across the pitch, Richards was at the heart of a resilient defence in West London, making an incredible 12 defensive clearances – by some distance a match-high.
The defender also blocked two Fulham shots, with a particularly crucial intervention late on against Josh King; three tackles; an interception; and completed the highest percentage of his passes (96.3%) of any starter.
That was enough to see him win 58.7% of your votes, with the returning Dean Henderson – who produced a string of good saves – runner-up on 10.7%, and goalscorer Nketiah third on 8.1%.
