The Japan international had already gone close to opening the scoring mere moments into the match, with a volleyed effort from Honest Ahanor's flick-on ruled out for offside.
As Palace toiled for an equaliser, Kamada continued to create, and popped up with the crucial last-minute intervention – side-footing home from Tyrick Mitchell's header across the box – to earn his side a precious point.
As well as his goal, Kamada had also recorded two key passes – passes leading to shots for his teammates – and completed an impressive 97.4 percent (a team best) of his 38 passes attempted.
