The draw
The draw for the quarter-finals of the Carabao Cup will take place live on Sky Sports Main Event (UK) following the conclusion of the televised fourth-round tie between Liverpool and Chelsea this evening (Wednesday 29th October).
With that match set to kick off at 20:00 GMT, should penalties be avoided, it is likely the draw will begin at around 22:15.
You can get news of the quarter-final draw delivered straight to your phone within minutes of it happening, by downloading the Official Crystal Palace App.
The fixtures
Quarter-final matches are due to be played in the week commencing Monday, 14th December.
Once again, any matches which end in a draw in the fourth-round will go straight to penalties. Extra-time is only used in the Carabao Cup from the semi-finals onwards.
Who else is in the draw?
After Bradford City and – incredibly – League Two side Fleetwood Town advanced last night (the latter defeating Palace's conquerors in both of the last two seasons, Arsenal) – there were five other ties being played tonight.
Aside from Palace, the fellow Premier League sides to advance are Manchester City, Bournemouth, Sunderland and Liverpool.
Everton and Newcastle United play their tie tomorrow night (Thursday).
What ball number are Palace?
Should Palace advance, they would be ball number 4:
- Bradford
- Fleetwood Town
- Bournemouth
- Crystal Palace
- Liverpool
- Manchester City
- Sunderland
- Everton or Newcastle
